Triangle-Based Stealth Vigilance K-9 Protects Former President Obama and Fans at the Battle of the Blues
RALEIGH, NC (February 21, 2019)
Stealth Vigilance, LLC (SVK9), a private K-9 detection firm, had multiple K-9 teams deployed at last night’s Duke vs. UNC men’s basketball game, one of the most legendary rivalries in the NCAA. In addition to the raving fans, dignitaries, and players, there was a special guest in attendance, former President Barak Obama.
SVK9 is accustomed to working high-profile events with dignitaries and celebrities including recently providing multiple K-9 teams to help provide security for the Super Bowl earlier this month.
Stealth Vigilance K-9’s are highly trained Vapor Wake® canines, the only patented K-9 technology to detect body-worn explosives and firearms in transit. These dogs can scan about 150 persons per minute in a non-invasive way.
“We are always honored to protect all guests and fans including the most famous people in the world,” said Geoff Beckwith, Chief Operating Officer of SVK9. “For our teams, this was just another day at the office.”
